Portelet House Care Home

Portelet House is an adapted building in Bournemouth's residential area with capacity for 15 people, currently housing 14 residents, the majority with dementia-related needs. The home spans three floors accessible by stairs or lift.

Residents feel safe and settled at the home. One resident said, "My friends are here. I am very happy. The staff are very nice here." Risk assessments have been completed and support plans implemented to ensure people's safety. The home is actively improving its fire safety measures, with staff having completed all fire prevention and safety training. Regular fire drills and equipment testing take place.
