Dalvey House

Dalvey House is a small residential care home accommodating up to 19 people, some living with dementia who require support with personal care. The home has communal spaces including a lounge, dining room and garden. During inspection, 16 people were living at the home.

People reported feeling safe at Dalvey House and felt well understood by staff who demonstrated good knowledge of individual needs. Staff worked with residents to help them achieve their personal outcomes and supported them to maintain independence and live fulfilling lives. Residents were encouraged to stay connected with family, friends and their community, with staff recognising the importance of these relationships for wellbeing. Staff knew people as individuals and showed clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, with management supporting staff to reflect on their practice and pursue learning opportunities.
