Pinhay House Residential Care Home

Pinhay House is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 25 people aged 65 and over, most living with dementia. The home is housed in a grade II listed Victorian building overlooking the sea near Lyme Regis, with accommodation across two floors. Most rooms are single occupancy, though three double rooms are available for shared use. Stair lift access connects the floors, serving most but not all upper floor rooms.

An inspection identified significant concerns regarding person-centred care, dignity and respect, consent, safe care and treatment, safeguarding, governance, and staffing arrangements. Issues included a failure to notify CQC of the absence of the registered manager.
