Pine Tree Court Care Home

Pine Tree Court is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 18 older people living with dementia, with capacity for up to 40 residents. While people's needs had been assessed, their care plans did not always provide current or clear guidance for staff on how to mitigate risks. Care plans had not been consistently updated when people's needs changed or following incidents or accidents, leaving residents at risk of not being protected from harm or inappropriate care.

The service was not always following all aspects of government COVID-19 guidance. Management took immediate action to ensure compliance with current guidance.
