Pine Lodge

Pine Lodge provides respite accommodation for up to three people with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, and physical healthcare needs. The bungalow features three bedrooms, communal lounges, and shared kitchen and garden facilities. At the time of inspection, one person was staying at the service.

Staff demonstrated empathy, kindness and compassion in their roles, with skilled practitioners who had received specialist training. People staying at Pine Lodge participated in activities and maintained attendance at college, day services and community hubs. Care and support needs were met by sufficient numbers of staff, who understood individual requirements and provided person-centred support. Staff offered choices of meals and monitored those at risk of poor food and fluid intake, cooking food tailored to individual dietary needs.
