Pennings View

Pennings View, in Wiltshire, is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 7 people, including those with learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of the assessment, 6 people were living there. The CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found people were involved in planning their care, supported to stay in touch with family and access their local community, and received good person-centred support with medicines and healthcare. Governance had improved since a previous breach: audits were now completed regularly, incidents were properly analysed, and staffing and recruitment were safe. Staff were well trained and spoke positively about supporting people to achieve good outcomes.
