Pendennis Residential Care Home

Pendennis provides personal care to up to 22 older people, with 21 residents at the time of inspection. People told inspectors they were happy living there and felt safe. The service has systems in place to protect residents from abuse and harm, with risks to safety properly assessed and managed. Staff know residents' needs well and understand how to manage associated risks.

Residents are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. Medicines are managed safely by trained staff, and there are sufficient staff recruited safely to meet people's needs. The service maintains a positive person-centred culture with governance systems in place to measure care quality and drive improvement.
