This 26-bed care home provides accommodation and support for older people, including those living with dementia and physical frailty. At inspection, 24 residents were living at the service. Residents and relatives expressed satisfaction with their care, and no concerns were raised about the quality of support provided.

However, inspectors found the service was not consistently operating in accordance with regulations and best practice. Key information relating to residents' care needs was not always recorded or followed up appropriately, and people were not always protected from avoidable harm. While some risks had been identified, sufficient action had not always been taken to mitigate them and keep residents safe. Infection control procedures were not consistently implemented, and recruitment processes did not always follow safe practice. Residents were not consistently supported to make choices about their lives, and staff were not always supporting people in the least restrictive way possible. Systems to monitor the service's performance were not undertaken robustly.
