Pemberton Fold

Pemberton Fold provides personal care for up to 60 people aged 65 and over, with 41 residents at the time of inspection, some living with dementia. The service is organised into four separate units, each containing 15 bedrooms with ensuite facilities, communal lounges, dining areas and satellite kitchens. Residents also have access to a hairdresser's salon, activities room and external gardens.

Inspectors identified significant concerns with medicines management. Staff training and competency checks were inadequate, with gaps in recording and stock balance errors. Temperature monitoring in medicine storage areas was also not being carried out properly, putting residents at risk.
