Could the NHS fund Parkvale's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Parkvale is a residential care home providing personal care for up to seven people, some of whom have a learning disability and/or a mental health condition. The service demonstrates strong infection control practices, with all visitors undergoing temperature checks and answering relevant questions before entry, along with ample PPE and handwashing facilities. Staff have created an exercise space with an exercise bike and weights to support people's wellbeing. The registered manager maintains sound understanding of national guidance and works closely with external agencies to protect people using the service. The home has maintained continuity of care by not using agency staff, and individualised risk assessments are in place to help staff and residents adhere to social distancing and government guidance.
