New Thursby Nursing Care Home

The home provides nursing care for up to 42 older people and younger adults in a large detached building on the coast road between Blackpool and St Annes on Sea. It has 32 single rooms and four shared rooms across two floors, with 17 rooms featuring en-suite facilities. At inspection, 30 people were living there.

People felt safe in the home's care and were supported to be as independent as possible. Staff helped residents manage avoidable risks through thorough risk assessments. The registered manager maintained strong recruitment practices and ensured sufficient staffing levels to meet care needs.
