Park House Nursing Home

Park House Nursing Home provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 52 people, primarily older adults with physical health needs and those living with dementia. At inspection, 47 people were using the service. Staff effectively protected people from harm, with clear safeguarding awareness and appropriate care plans that outlined known risks and guidance for safe delivery of support. Medicines were managed safely, recruitment processes were robust, and staffing levels met people's needs. When incidents or accidents occurred, staff responded appropriately and learned lessons. Mental capacity assessments were in place for people with fluctuating or absent capacity, and staff supported people using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. The home maintained a positive culture where the registered manager was described as approachable and responsive to people's concerns.
