The Poplars provides accommodation and personal care for up to 51 people over 65, with 45 residents living there at the time of inspection. People at the home were happy and well cared for, with staff described as kind and caring who knew residents well and understood their diverse needs. Relatives spoke positively about the service, noting that residents were treated with respect and dignity while being supported to maintain their independence and make choices about their lives.

The home offered a wide range of activities both on-site and in the community, enabling residents to pursue their hobbies and interests. The registered manager knew people well and staff felt supported in their roles. Systems were in place to monitor quality and drive improvements.
