Glengarriff House

Glengarriff House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 18 people with learning disabilities across a main house and three self-contained apartments. At the time of inspection, 15 people were living there, with nine in the main house and six in the apartments. Staff demonstrated strong safeguarding awareness and felt confident raising concerns with the registered manager or external agencies, with appropriate notifications completed as required. The service maintained adequate staffing levels to meet residents' care needs and followed safe recruitment practices when employing staff. Infection prevention and control procedures were effective, with the service adhering to best practice and government guidance on COVID-19 management.
