Osborne House

Osborne House provides personal and nursing care to up to 74 people, including older and younger adults living with dementia or physical disabilities. At inspection, 44 people were using the service. The home operates across three floors in one adapted building, with each floor specialising in different care needs. The second floor functions as a nursing unit, while the top floor provides specialist care for people living with dementia.

Staff administer medication as prescribed and are trained and competent in this role. However, the recording and storage of some medicines did not always meet best practice guidance, though this did not result in harm to people using the service.
