Orchid Villa

Orchid Villa is a purpose-built care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 34 people living with dementia. The single-story facility is set within the Grosvenor Villas complex and includes individual bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities, along with communal living, dining and outdoor areas. At inspection, 31 people were using the service.

People felt safe at the home. Staff carried out regular checks of equipment and the environment, maintained cleanliness standards, and used personal protective equipment correctly to prevent infection spread. When issues arose, the home took action to reduce the risk of recurrence. Suitable recruitment processes were in place and staffing levels were adequate to meet residents' needs.
