Kingscourt

Kingscourt provides residential nursing and personal care for up to 37 older people, including those living with dementia. The service operates across three floors with separate adapted facilities in one building. At inspection, 28 people were using the service. Some areas required redecoration and furniture replacement, with the provider demonstrating plans to address these issues. Staffing levels were safe and the provider was responsive to feedback.

Staff delivered caring support with residents feeling respected and valued as individuals. People were supported to maintain choice and control over their lives, with staff adopting the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. Risk assessments and care plans were developed to meet individual needs.
