The service comprises five bedrooms in one house and four bedrooms plus staff sleeping quarters in the other. During inspection, staff demonstrated strong infection control practices, including health questionnaires and temperature checks for all visitors.
The building featured clear two-metre distance markings, and the registered manager utilised separate entrances for different visitor types—contractors, professionals, and staff—to maintain social distancing. A dedicated clean room was designated for supervised visits, which were appointment-only and required visitors to wear full personal protective equipment. Staff disinfected the room after each visit.
The service implemented additional safety measures including car-sharing arrangements for staff travel with appropriate PPE protocols and a policy preventing staff from working across or entering adjoining services during shifts.
