Olive House Home for Older People provides accommodation and personal care for up to 44 older people and younger adults living with physical disabilities, dementia, or mental health conditions. At inspection, 29 people were using the service, which operates across two floors in one building. Staff numbers were adequate and people felt safe, with appropriate safeguarding measures in place. However, inspectors identified several areas requiring improvement: risk management practices were inconsistent, infection control procedures were not always safe, and medicines storage needed review. Recruitment records required better documentation, and staff supervisions were not occurring according to the provider's policy. The provider has committed to addressing supervision arrangements within three months.
