Freehold Cottage Residential Home

Freehold Cottage provides accommodation and personal care for up to six people who need support with their mental health. The single building is spread over two floors and was operating at full capacity during the inspection.

People receive safe care, with medicines administered as prescribed and opportunities to self-administer where appropriate. Staff understand safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures and know how to report and escalate concerns effectively. The service recruits staff safely and maintains robust infection prevention and control measures. Risk assessments are comprehensive, regularly reviewed, and tailored to reflect the individual needs of people using the service.
