Millgate House

Millgate House is a registered charity providing care for young adults with learning and physical disabilities. The home accommodates up to eight people on a short-term basis and also offers personal care support to individuals living in their own homes within the community. Located in Whitworth village between Bacup and Rochdale, the service had three people using it at the time of inspection.

Staff were recruited safely, though inspectors noted that pre-recruitment checks could be improved in one case. The service demonstrated good practice across all five key inspection areas, meeting the characteristics of 'Good' for people's experience using the service.
