Oaktree Care Home, on the outskirts of Bristol, provides accommodation, personal care and nursing support for up to 78 adults with physical, sensory or cognitive needs, including a dedicated dementia unit. The CQC found the service had improved significantly since its last inspection and is now rated Good overall, with no breaches of regulation.

Inspectors found a stable, experienced staff team, better staffing levels, and a much improved, homelier environment. Activities were varied and creative, and people felt safe, well cared for and involved in decisions. Some people reported call bells being slow at times, but this was being monitored through regular audits.
