Oakleigh Park Care Home

Oakleigh Park Care Home accommodates up to 56 older people across three residential floors with passenger lift access and adapted facilities throughout. At inspection, 52 people were living at the service. Relatives reported that people were safe, staff were kind, and their relatives received good care and support. The home was clean and odour free, with appropriate infection control measures in place.

Staff recruitment processes were safe with essential checks completed before employment. Health and medical risks were properly assessed and documented with clear guidance to minimise risks and keep people safe. People received medicines safely and as prescribed. Staffing levels were sufficient to meet residents' needs, and systems were in place to manage risks associated with people's care requirements.
