Nower House

The care home provides personal care to up to 50 people with various health needs, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 24 people were living in the adapted building. Staff were observed to be kind and caring, treating residents with dignity while encouraging independence. There were enough staff to meet people's needs, and medication support was safely managed with appropriate infection control practices in place.

Risks to residents' safety were managed well and regularly reviewed. The home supported people to maintain a balanced diet, and the management team completed thorough assessments before people moved in to ensure their needs could be met. Residents were supported to have maximum choice and control in their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. People had access to activities they enjoyed.
