About Bramley House Residential Home

Bramley House Residential Home is a residential care home in Surrey, providing accommodation and personal care for older people, including some living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Bramley House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 16 older people, some living with dementia, in an adapted building. At inspection, 15 people were using the service, including those with learning disabilities and autistic people. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible, with policies and systems in place to promote this.

People's care was personalised and residents reported feeling at home, with staff demonstrating good knowledge of their needs, life histories and preferences. However, inspectors found that principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 were not fully embedded into practice, though there was no evidence this was impacting on people's lives.
