Norwood House

Norwood House is a residential care home providing personal care to people aged 65 and over, some of whom are living with dementia. The four-storey service accommodates up to 20 people, with nine residents at the time of inspection. Staff follow government guidance on personal protective equipment and infection prevention and control, with ample supplies monitored by the registered manager. All staff and residents receive regular Covid-19 testing, and appropriate processes are in place to respond to any symptoms. Staff have undertaken training in infection prevention and control, including PPE procedures, hand hygiene and Covid-19 related protocols. The home has developed plans for cohorting staff and zoning floors should an outbreak occur, helping to reduce infection spread across the service.
