Moulsham Home

Moulsham Home provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 37 people, including those living with dementia and learning disabilities. At the time of the assessment, 26 people lived at the home.

Inspectors found some improvements since the previous inspection, but shortfalls remained around medicines, risk management, and oversight of deprivation of liberty safeguards. A breach of legal regulations was identified relating to governance, as management oversight did not always assure compliance. Even so, people and relatives spoke positively, describing staff as warm and courteous, and felt safe and well cared for.
