Morton Manor is a nursing home accommodating up to 30 people across two adapted buildings—a large house and a cottage. At inspection, 19 people were using the service, including those under and over 65 with varying needs and some living with dementia.

Inspectors found significant safety concerns. The provider did not consistently maintain a safe environment, putting residents at risk of potential injury. Infection prevention and control practices were inadequate, creating a risk of cross-infection for both people and staff. Additionally, medicines were not always safely managed, with concerns identified regarding storage and safe handling procedures.
