About Moordean

Moordean is a residential care home in Kent providing personal care and accommodation for adults with complex learning disabilities and mental illness. Details of the CQC's most recent findings on the service are set out below.

Moordean provides personal care and accommodation for six adults with complex learning disabilities, mental illness and behaviours that may cause harm to themselves or others. People at the service were previously at risk of social exclusion due to their behaviours, but the person-centred positive social support they receive prevents them from becoming isolated and enables them to participate fully in service activities and within their local community.

The adults at Moordean have recently transferred to the service within the last year from another facility run by the same organisation.
