Montgomery House is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to up to 90 people, some of whom live with dementia. The home is divided into five separate units and was operating at 88 residents at the time of inspection.

Staff were provided with necessary PPE to carry out their roles safely, with protective equipment readily available at designated donning stations throughout the home. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with ongoing cleaning observed during the inspection. The environment was uncluttered and well ventilated, and the home had clear protocols in place for managing positive COVID-19 cases, including deep cleaning of affected rooms.
