Mona Cliffe Care Home

Mona Cliffe Care Home provides personal care for up to 23 older people across two floors in one building. At the time of inspection, 13 people were using the service. People felt safe, with appropriate safeguarding measures and risk assessments in place. The home was clean and tidy, though some modernisation was needed.

Staff had completed moving and handling training with competency assessments in place, and staffing levels were adequate. Some infection prevention and control records required updating, which was addressed during the inspection. Recruitment procedures needed improvement.
