Leighton House

Leighton House provides short-term respite accommodation for up to five adults with learning disabilities or autism, offering planned admissions and emergency support when needed. The home is adapted for profoundly disabled individuals and features communal areas including two lounges, an accessible kitchen, and a garden. During inspection, three people were being supported at the service.

Staff were consistently kind, caring and supportive, developing positive relationships with people and their families despite the short-term nature of placements. The service actively sought views from people using their own individual communication methods. Previous concerns about unsafe medicines administration have been addressed, with inspectors confirming improvements had been made since the last inspection.
