Oakenshaw House provides accommodation and support for up to five people with a learning disability in a small domestic-style property. The home is an older detached house set in its own grounds and is part of a wider service provision that includes day care, respite care, and supported living facilities. The small size enables residents to have the opportunity of living a full life.

Inspectors found that the provider was following best practice guidance in controlling infection, including ensuring visitors to the home did not spread infection.
