Millbrook Care Centre

Millbrook Care Centre is a large property providing accommodation for up to 46 older people over two floors with lift access. At the time of inspection there were 44 residents. Staff were recruited according to safer recruitment processes with sufficient staffing to meet people's needs. The home maintains a clean and tidy environment with good infection control practices. Risks are assessed regularly and environmental checks and maintenance are completed to ensure safety. The registered manager analyses accidents and incidents to identify lessons and prevent future risks.

Medicines are securely stored and people receive them as needed. The home demonstrates effective safeguarding arrangements and appropriate record-keeping. Staff have access to training to support their work caring for residents.
