Oakwood Care Centre

Oakwood Care Centre provides personal care to up to 18 people aged 65 and over in one adapted building. Staff demonstrate awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and manage risks effectively, with care records providing clear guidance on keeping people safe whilst respecting individual choices. Staff have received training in risk management, and the home maintains regular health and safety checks, building maintenance, and equipment servicing programmes.

Medicines are managed safely at the service, and safe recruitment systems are in place. The home maintains systems for infection prevention and control, protecting people who use the service, staff, and visitors from potential harm.
