Merrymeet Residential Care Home

Merrymeet Residential Care Home provides accommodation and personal care to 18 people with mental health diagnoses in a community-based setting in Salford. The adapted building houses up to 19 residents in single bedrooms across two floors, with communal spaces including two lounges, a dining room, kitchen and accessible garden.

The home maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with staff following regular cleaning schedules throughout all areas. Staff appropriately use personal protective equipment and COVID-19 testing is carried out in line with guidance. During the inspection, the home supported residents to maintain contact with family and friends through telephone calls and enabled one person to continue attending their regular meeting online when face-to-face gatherings were not possible.
