Winash Rest Home

Winash Rest Home is a residential care home providing support to older people, including help with personal care, mobility and maintaining independence. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found staff knew people well, care plans held useful information, and people felt safe, well supported and able to call for help when needed.

People and relatives spoke positively about staff kindness and the choice and control they had over daily life, including community access and visits from family. However, the CQC found improvements were needed in completing Mental Capacity Assessments, making timely Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards referrals, and submitting required notifications to the regulator.
