Meadway Court

Meadway Court is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 42 people across two floors. This follow-up assessment found the service remained in breach of regulations relating to safe medicines management and governance, issues first identified at the previous inspection. Staffing levels were insufficient at busy times, meaning people often waited too long for support, and care plans and daily records did not always reflect people's current needs accurately.

The CQC found staff to be kind, helpful and well-intentioned, and people spoke positively about their interactions with them. However, staff lacked time for meaningful engagement, and feedback from people and relatives was not always used to drive improvement. The provider has been asked to submit an action plan setting out how these shortfalls will be addressed.
