Meadow View Residential Care Home provides care and support for older people, most of whom are living with dementia, and some with physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service inadequate overall and has taken enforcement action, placing it in special measures. Inspectors found widespread failings in medicines management, staffing levels and infection control, and parts of the home smelt strongly of urine.

Leadership had failed to spot or fix these problems despite internal audits, and staff said they felt unsupported and unable to raise concerns. Feedback from people and relatives about individual staff was largely positive, describing them as kind and professional, but the CQC concluded that overall care did not meet expected standards.
