About Hamilton's Residential Home

Hamilton's Residential Home is a residential care home in Kent, supporting older people including those living with dementia. Further detail on the service is set out in the CQC findings below.

Hamilton's Residential Home is a residential care home supporting older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC found the service had improved significantly since its last assessment, when warning notices were served. Medicines, infection control and environmental risks were now managed safely, and it is no longer in breach of regulations or in Special Measures.

Leadership had strengthened, with staff feeling supported and well led, and provider oversight had improved considerably. Inspectors noted further work was needed to ensure care guidance was always person-specific and that people had enough meaningful occupation. People and relatives described staff as kind, and said they felt safe and well cared for.
