The Coach House

The Coach House is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 9 people, currently supporting 8 residents. It specialises in caring for younger people with learning disabilities, some of whom are autistic and have physical disabilities and sensory impairments. The service operates from one adapted building with bedrooms across two floors.

Staff focus on people's strengths and promote independence, supporting residents to pursue their interests, goals and aspirations. People are encouraged to personalise their rooms and make choices about their living environment. The service makes reasonable adjustments to ensure residents can participate fully in discussions about their care and support, including assistance with travel. Staff communicate in ways tailored to individual needs and support people to make decisions following best practice, while promoting equality and diversity in all aspects of care.
