Meadow View Residential and Community Care Centre

Meadow View Residential and Community Care Centre provides personal care for up to 32 people, with a dedicated ground level for 16 people living with dementia on a long-term basis. The service also supports people on a short-term basis with rehabilitation goals. All rooms have en-suite facilities, complemented by communal areas and accessible gardens.

People receive their medicines as prescribed with effective management of associated risks. The home maintains safe care standards and robust infection control systems. Staff levels are adequate to meet people's needs safely and in a timely manner, with safe recruitment procedures in place. The service has effective systems to monitor and improve care, achieving good outcomes for people. Staff are aware of their responsibilities and encouraged to raise concerns and report mistakes, fostering a learning culture. During current restrictions, the service implemented strict infection control measures while innovatively maintaining contact with other professionals and stakeholders through virtual means.
