Meadow Court Residential Home

Meadow Court Residential Home provides personal care for up to 37 people, some living with dementia, and had 31 residents at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, identifying breaches relating to safe care and treatment and to good governance. Risks were not always assessed or managed, medicines were not always handled safely, and oversight of quality assurance was weak.

Care plans varied in quality and did not always reflect people's needs.

Despite this, inspectors found staff to be kind, caring and attentive, with people and relatives speaking positively about feeling safe and well cared for. Staffing levels were sufficient and activities were available. The home has responded to concerns raised and taken immediate remedial action.
