Maynell House

Maynell House provides residential care and accommodation to up to 25 older people, including those living with dementia and one person with a learning disability. At the time of inspection, 21 people were using the service. The home operates from an adapted building with systems in place to ensure people receive safe care that reduces risks of abuse and harm. Staff were observed to be caring in their interactions with residents, and medicines were administered appropriately when needed. The service promoted residents' independence, privacy and dignity while maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Staff were available to provide necessary support and had been recruited safely.
