At the time of inspection, 44 residents were living at the service, most with dementia and other age-related conditions. Relatives spoke positively about their experiences, with one commenting that "Knowing [Name] is in a safe and caring environment means the world to us.

" Families praised the home's organisation and staff, noting that "Mayfields is very well organised with competent and pleasant staff in all departments. " Communication during the pandemic was also highlighted as a strong point, with relatives stating that "Communication by the home throughout the last year has been very good.
