Mayfield House is a large detached residential care home providing 24-hour care for six people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorder. The home maintains sufficient staffing levels to meet people's needs safely. Staff receive training to recognise and report signs of abuse, and the provider's recruitment procedures ensure appropriate staff are employed.

Risk assessments are regularly reviewed and well managed, with effective systems in place to reduce infection spread.

Medicines are safely managed and administered at the home. People are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches possible in line with the service's policies and practices.
