Maple Lodge

Maple Lodge is a care home without nursing, supporting 44 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service good overall. Inspectors found staff felt supported, care plans were personalised and regularly reviewed, and people and relatives spoke positively about caring, attentive staff and a responsive management team.

Some shortfalls were identified around medicines, including guidance for "as required" medicines and labelling of creams, along with minor decoration issues. The registered manager acted immediately to address these. Relatives said they felt informed and involved in their loved one's care, and praised the activities on offer.
