Maple House

Maple House provides care for up to five people with learning disabilities or autism in an adapted domestic-style property. The service is designed to help people live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence, receiving person-centred support that is appropriate and inclusive. The home deliberately has no identifying signs, cameras, or anything to suggest it is a care facility, and staff are discouraged from wearing uniforms when moving around with people.

Everyone spoken with praised the management and staff for the quality of care provided. People are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. The service's policies and systems support these practices.
