Glenfield

Glenfield is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to six people with a learning disability and/or autistic people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding improvements had been made since the previous inspection. Inspectors found people were safe, well supported and cared for by trained staff who used positive behaviour support to reduce risk, with enough staff on duty to meet needs at the home and in the community.

The premises had been upgraded, offering more communal space, a sensory room and garden. Leaders listened to people, relatives and staff, and used this to keep improving. Relatives described the home as "a home from home", saying their family members were happy and settled there.
