Famille House

Famille House is a residential care home providing support for up to 16 autistic people and people with a learning disability. The CQC found the service was performing well overall. Staff understood and managed risks, medicines were handled safely, and there were enough suitably skilled staff.

Some areas of the premises and furniture had not been well maintained, though improvements began after the inspection.

Inspectors found care was person-centred, with staff who knew people well and supported their choices, independence and community involvement. People and relatives spoke positively about kindness and support received. Leadership was strong, with good oversight and a culture where concerns could be raised openly.
